This is a Pop Art portrait made popular by Andy Warhol in the 70's.
This process starts with you sending in a photo. We will then send you a sample color swatch of other work. You select the colors and the style - single, double, triptych - vertical/horizontal. And then we do the design.
The result is then sent to you to do with what you like, have us print it on canvas or have us render it as an oil painting.
As a side note, I really like doing this style of painting with a palette knife. This style is called 'impasto' - where you use the thickness of the paint as another element in the portrait. It has often been described as causing the paint to come out of the canvas. It is very stylish. The downside is it takes a bit longer to dry.
The price quoted above is for four 16x20 oil paintings rolled and shipped in a tube. Below you will have the option to change the size, specify stretching and framing and add additional subjects. You can select from a number of sizes up to 36x48. Framing options include Not Framed (shipping rolled in a tube), Stretching (Gallery Wrap – or stretching the canvas around a wooden frame) or Framed. If you select framed, we will mount the painting in a black floating frame.
If you don't see the option you want listed; size, etc., just send an email or give us a call.
The final price of your portrait and options will be shown when you click on 'Add to Cart'
Please note this is for 4 panels. Send us a message for pricing on other configurations.
