We really think the success of our art is that we understand what it feels like to hit a ball, shoot a jump shot, blast out of a sandtrap, dive to catch a pass, and kick a ball into the goal. I've seen paintings where the quality of the artwork was very good but they didn't understand that batting involves driving off of the back foot, not just swinging the arms.

Sport is heat, fatigue, pain, exhileration, oneness, and a hundred other little things.
