Painting is about line, shape, color and how they relate to each other.  Dance is a dynamic endeavor. However, when you freeze it in a painting, the lines, form and shape are classic.   What makes it fascinating to me is that dancers are artists who happen to be extraordinarily gifted athletes.

Our first work in this area was a commission to paint a triptych (three panel) painting of Gillian Murphy, principal with New York's American Ballet Theatre.  These are now part of the P.M. Murphy collection.
